Agri-Business Promotion
Agriculture continues to be the backbone of rural livelihoods in India. MART Academy supports smallholders in transitioning from subsistence to enterprise through market-led, value chain-based interventions.
We work with SHGs, PGs, and FPOs to strengthen business planning, infrastructure, and aggregation strategies. Our approach includes building capacity, enabling access to finance, and connecting producers with institutional buyers and market platforms.
MART Academy catalyzes transformation in rural agrarian economies by nurturing farmer collectives into dynamic agri-business enterprises. Our interventions include:
- Value chain assessments to identify high-potential agrienterprises
- Business planning support for entrepreneurs and collectives
- Institutional support to SHGs, PGs, and FPOs in governance, compliance, and financial systems
- Infrastructure development, such as processing units and cold storage for value addition
- Market linkages through brand development, e-commerce platforms, commodity fairs, and direct sales
- Financial facilitation, including credit linkages and convergence with NABARD, NRLM, and other schemes
