Capacity Building
Strong, self-sustaining community institutions are the backbone of inclusive development. MART Academy’s capacity building initiatives aim to empower individuals and institutions with practical, scalable skills and systems for long-term success.
MART Academy Capacity Building Vertical focuses on
- Building local skills and institutions to sustain benefits beyond the project’s lifecycle.
- Prioritizing labor-intensive, low-cost, and community-driven initiatives (e.g., cash-for-work, micro-enterprises, self-help groups)
- Ensuring transparency and accountability in resource use.
Our trainings span across governance, finance, leadership, and livelihood development, backed by strong IEC materials and Training of Trainers (ToTs) among others

Our capacity building initiatives include
- Tailored training for SHGs, PGs, cooperatives, FPOs, and local governance institutions
- Skill modules on governance, leadership, record-keeping, business planning, and financial literacy
- Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions to nurture local cadres and ensure learning continuity
- Development of IEC materials — manuals, SOPs, flipbooks, and visual aids — in local languages
